Keven Mealamu captains the All Blacks for the first time.
New Zealand have named three new caps in their side for Saturday’s Test match against Scotland at Murrayfield. Prop Jamie Mackintosh, loose forward Liam Messam and lock Kieran Read start in new captain Keven Mealamu’s 15. Mealamu becomes the 63rd player to captain the All Blacks with regular skipper Richie McCaw on the bench alongside star fly-half Dan Carter.
Scotland are yet to name their team for the match at: Murrayfield on Saturday, 8 November KO 1715 GMT BBC Two.
New Zealand: Isaia Toeava; Anthony Tuitavake, Richard Kahui, Ma’a Nonu, Joe Rokocoko; Stephen Donald, Piri Weepu; Jamie Mackintosh, Keven Mealamu (capt), John Afoa, Anthony Boric, Ali Williams, Kieran Read, Adam Thomson, Liam Messam.
Replacements: Corey Flynn, Neemia Tialata, Ross Filipo, Richie McCaw, Andy Ellis, Dan Carter, Cory Jane.
