Brian Ashton rings the changes in Six Nations squad

England coach Brian Ashton has a few surprises with the exclusion of Josh Lewsey and not so much with Andy Farrell. The new names included are Tom Croft, Danny Cipriani and Lesley Vainikolo the power house Gloucester wing, plus Sales scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth. Unlucky are Ollie Barkley whose court appearance counted against him and Tom Varndell who will be in the Saxons squad. Phil Vickery is retained as captain despite doubts over his starting place. The Saxons benefit from a strong group of talented players coming forward and so we have listed both squads for you here:
