Two tries by Ireland wing Tommy Bowe ended England’s Grand Slam hopes at Twickenham.

Ireland took the lead through Bowe’s early try and a penalty from Johnny Sexton, to two penalties from Jonny Wilkinson, giving us the half time score of 6-8.
The second period and Keith Earls stretched the Ireland lead to seven points with a try. At last England started to fire and Dan Cole went over and Wilkinson converted to make it 13-13.

Wilkinson then put England ahead with a drop-goal but Bowe sealed their fate with a late try and Ronan O’Gara converted to give us the final score of:
