England in South Africa

Anyone got any thoughts on the value of this tour for either Country?

We have the touring party for the 2 match series in South Africa against the Springboks. The side will not give us any insight into the results in France in September as it will certainly not be anything like the World Cup side. So what does the tour prove? Nothing, it will be a chance for one or two who would not normally be in the reckoning to get a full Cap. The Springboks should win both games easily and so apart from them fielding a strong world Cup combination and getting game time it will not tell them much either. Anyone got any thoughts on the value of this tour for either Country?
