France blitz Ireland – France 33-10 Ireland

France produced a controlled and disciplined game to outclass champions Ireland in their Six Nations match in Paris.

Morgan Parra kicked a penalty and William Servat and Yannick Jauzion scored tries, both converted by Parra, put the French in to half-time at 17-3.

A further try by Clement Poitrenaud, plus a further eight points from the boot of Parra and a Frederic Michalak drop-goal made the win comfortable. David Wallace scored Ireland’s try, with Ronan O’Gara kicking five points.

This was yet again a game the was influenced by the sin bin as France took a strangle hold when Ireland were down to 14 men. However this probably would not have made much difference to the final score of:
