Marc Lievremont has named his squad for the Six Nations and there is a recall for Centre Mathieu Bastareaud. The 21-year-old was dropped in October after lying about being assaulted by five men in New Zealand in June to cover up a drink-related facial injury. He has completed community service, the Stade Francais player is back in favour with the coach.

Jean-Baptiste Elissalde returns because first-choice scrum-half Julien Dupuy is serving a 23-week ban for eye-gouging. Lievremont said of him; (quote) He has an extraordinary vision of the game and deserves to be back with us. (end quote)
