Georgia Europe 1 Russia 2

Georgia beat Russia 36-8 to claim the European Nations Cup and in the process take the Europe One spot for Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand, putting them in pool B with Argentina, England and Scotland. Georgia have lost just one game in the two year tournament and that to Romania who still have a chance to come through the play-off’s process.

Russia who had already qualified for New Zealand took the Europe Two spot and this put them in pool C with Australia, Ireland and Italy for their first visit to the premier competition.
