Paul O’Connell, who has been struggling with a groin injury, is also included but Stephen Ferris, Luke Fitzgerald and Denis Leamy are missing through injury.
The tour warms up with a home game against the Barbarians, followed by a Test against New Zealand on 12 June. Ireland then play New Zealand Maori on 18 June and Australia on 26 June.
Munster captain O’Connell has not played since his country’s final RBS Six Nations match on 20 March and has been receiving intravenous antibiotics in a Cork hospital, but has been deemed fit enough to take his place in Declan Kidney’s squad.
