Italy through to France 2007

As expected Italy beat Russia by 67-7 in Russia to progress to RWC 2007 in France.  This win means Italy now join New Zealand and Scotland in Pool ‘C’ with the other 2 places still to be decided for Europe 2 for which Romania are still favourites and repechage 1 which Uruguay must be favourites to claim.
