McLean Park, Napier
McLean Park, Napier is primarily a cricket stadium that also hosts rugby games. It was built in 1952 and had a capacity of 16,500 though this will be increased for the 2011 Rugby world Cup when the stadium will stage 2 pool games on the 18 Sept France v Canada and 27 Sept Canada v Japan. Napier is a pretty Art Deco town on the east coast of the north island and Hawkes Bay who play in the Air New Zealand Cup are based in the stadium.

Highway 2 either from the north or south brings you into Napier South. You will come onto Georges Drive and if travelling south the 2nd major junction is Latham Street you will need to turn left onto it, if you are coming from the south then again you will have entered Georges Drive and Latham Street will be the 1st major junction which you will turn right into, Morris Street is the second road on the right. You will also see signs to the stadium and may have to follow these if the road layout is altered for the day of the games.
The airport for Napier is Hawkes Bay Airport and this is north of the town just off highway 2 at Westshore. The airport is just 10 minutes from the centre of Napier. There are taxi and shuttle services from the airport.
Napier station is a short walk from the ground as the station is on the junction of Latham Street and Munroe Street.
