New Zealand Italy Odds

New Zealand the odds on favourites for the 2007 Rugby World Cup (RWC) meet Italy at the Velodrome, Marseille, in pool ‘C’ on the 8th September. New Zealand have drawn the Azzuri in 4 out of the last 5 RWC’s and have a consistent record with 70-6 in 1987, 31-21 in 1991, 101-3 in 1999 and 70-7 in 2003.
New Zealand vs Italy Preview

Although Italy have seldom given the All Blacks a decent game, all the signs are that this year will not be quite such a walk over even though the Blacks are way out in front of all the other nations.  We expect Italy to put up stiffer resistance and although they will lose by more than 20 points it will not be the cricket score we have seen in the past.  The new All Blacks 10 to shadow Daniel Carter and set the tournament alight is Stephen Brett, also expect Richie McCaw to be the Captain to lift the trophy at the end of the occasion.
