New Zealand Portugal Odds

New Zealand will play Portugal for the first time in pool ‘C’ of Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007 in the Stadium Gerland, Lyon, on the 15th Sep. New Zealand have never played Portugal at any level except perhaps in the sevens series and it will be a real tester for the Southern European side.

New Zealand will almost certainly field their second string players for this match. We still expect them to destroy Portugal and score enough points for a winning margin in excess of 70 points. One player to star for the Blacks will probably be new name Stephen Brett.
