North Harbour Stadium in Albany on the North Shore is one of the easiest stadiums for access and well signposted from the northern motorway 1. Just be careful if using maps to guide you in from Auckland as you would expect to see an exit from the motorway with route 17 on. You can take either exit signed to Albany and 28 or the following exit , which is the Oteha Valley Road and 29. If coming from the north then the reverse applies. In either case entry to the grounds is very easy and there is a lot of parking. We would say that North Harbour is undoubtedly the easiest stadium both to find and park at. With the added bonus of a bus station right by the parking areas. This could be the one ground you drive to, but lookout the motorway can be very busy.

Main Entrance
The stadium is an attractive one and most seating has good close proximity to the pitch, this stadium at the time of our visit still retained grass banking at both ends behind the posts and it did not look as if this was about to change. The main stand has three levels of corporate boxes with about 16 per level. These have seating in front of them, which will limit the number available to Joe public.

End View
We certainly liked North Harbour for all the right reasons but it does look as though you would not want to stay locally as Albany is a small sleepy village without many amenities or places to stay. Auckland is so near that it is a good option and if you want access to beaches then look out for Takapuna and the environs, whilst a little more inland is the city of North Shore.
