Northland Events Centre, Whangarei

Northland Events Centre, formerly Okara Park is a multi-use stadium in Whangarei, New Zealand. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of Northland Rugby Union. The stadium is able to hold 25,000 people and was built in 1965, though redeveloped recently. The stadium will host 2 pool games in the 2011 Rugby World Cup and they are 14 Sept Tonga v Canada and 21 Sept Tonga v Japan. The stadium will be the northern most hosting stadium for the World Cup.
