Paris Famous Old Stadium

Parc De Princes was the premier international football and rugby stadium for France and Paris until the Stade De France opened in 1998. The Parc still hosts french league football and rugby games and on grand occassions like the world cup hosts internationals. The capacity of 49,000 will certainly be sold out for most if not all of the games.

Parc De Princes being near the Périphérique next to the Bois de Boulogne is called a Paris venue whereas the Stade De France is in St Denis to the north of the city. The parc has hosted 2 football world cups and this will be the first rugby world cup. The stadium will feature Englands pool game against South Africa and France against Ireland both key games to decide the winners in their respective pools.
