Rugby Park Stadium, Invercargill

Rugby Park, Invercargill is a rugby union venue and home ground for Air New Zealand Cup team Southland. The ground has a capacity of around 23,000 and will host two pool games, the first on 10 September, when Scotland will play the Romania and the second on the 17th, when Argentina will take on the same opposition. The stadium which is also the home of the Southland Spirit Soccer Team was opened in 2002 following the demolition of the previous Homestead Stadium and it is the southern most stadium hosting games in the 2011 Rugby world Cup.
