Scotland New Zealand Odds

Scotland meet New Zealand on the 23rd Sep in Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007 pool ‘C’ in their home stadium Murrayfield, Edinburgh. This will be the first meeting between the two sides in the pool stages although, they have met twice in the quarter finals, in 1987 the All Blacks won 30-3 and then in 1995 it was a much closer affair but the Kiwi’s won 48-30.

We cannot see any way that Scotland will turnover the powerful All Blacks, home advantage will certainly not produce enough for the Scots to win enough ball of any worth to trouble the Kiwis.  We see this an occasion when the Blacks will field their first choice team and run out winners by more than 40 points. Although they will not have much ball expect John Beattie to play his heart out and Sean Lamont to cause a few problems.
