South Africa 30 Tonga 25

In arguably the best game in the tournament so far Tonga pushed the Springboks all the way to the final whistle. Tonga took the lead early on with a penalty and with Andre Pretorius missing a couple of kicks at goal it took a try and conversion on 17 minutes to open the Springboks account. This was to be the half-time score 7-3.  The second half and Tonga regained the lead thanks to  the forwards 7-10 South Africa now had a purple patch and scored 20 unanswered points and it looked like things were done and dusted.  But you cannot write off these Tongans and the last 10 minutes saw them storming the Boks line and bring the score line back to within 5 points.  South Africa kicked a penalty but back came Tonga, unfortunately with them storming the Springboks line time ran out and the Boks won 30-25.
