South Africa meet Tonga in Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007, pool ‘A’ on the 22nd Sep at the Felix Bollaert Stadium, Lens. This will be the first occasion the sides have met at the RWC and there is no history of meetings between them at any time.

This pool meeting is one of South Africa’s games they should win convincingly. We would expect that the forward power and cohesion from the Boks will blow away the Islanders and although they will compete to the end and score some good points South Africa will run out winners by more than 30 points. Look out for both Breyton Paulse and JP Peitersen causing havoc and running in the tries.
