The second half was a different matter as the Kiwi’s came back to close the gap after
Morne Steyn had put the Boks 17-3 ahead Conrad Smith scored and Stephen Donald kicked the conversion plus two penalties to reduce the gap to 4 points. Steyn and Donald both kicked further penalties but then a midfield error was pounced on by Jaque Fourie and a further Steyn penalty saw the home side win the day, with the final score of:
