The 12 referees and 13 touch judges have been named for Rugby World Cup 2007 in France.
The referees are: Chris White, Tony Spreadbury and Wayne Barnes (all England), Paul Honiss and Steve Walsh (both New Zealand), Alain Rolland and Alan Lewis (both Ireland), Jonathan Kaplan and Marius Jonker (both South Africa), Nigel Owens (Wales), Stuart Dickinson (Australia) and Joel Jutge (France).
The touch judges are: Dave Pearson (England), Hugh Watkins (Wales), Malcolm Changleng (Scotland), Simon McDowell (Ireland, Kelvin Deaker, Lyndon Bray and Lawrence Bryce (all New Zealand), Craig Joubert and Mark Lawrence (both South Africa), Christophe Berdos (France), Paul Marks (Australia), Federico Cuesta (Argentina) and Carlo Damasco (Italy).
Tony Spreadbury has been chosen to take charge of the tournament opener between France and Argentina on 7 September and Joel Jutge is in charge of the game between England and South Africa. England’s three other pool games – against the USA, Samoa and Tonga – will be controlled by Kaplan, Lewis and Rolland, respectively.
