Toulouse's Le Stade Stadium

Stade Toulousain better known as Toulouse one of the most consistant performers in French rugby will not be hosting world cup matches in their stadium as its capacity of 20,000 is dwarfed by the 37,000 of the local football clubs stadium Le Stade. The stadiums capacity has been used in the past by Toulouse to host some of its sell out games against teams such as Stade Francais, Biarritz Olympique and the English clubs in the Heineken Cup.

Toulouse is a vibrant city in the Haute-Garonne region of the South of France a hot bed of rugby support and also the home of the Airbus manufacturing facility and its creation the biggest commercial airliner the A380. The city has hosted football world cup pool games and this will be the third time for the rugby world cup.

Stade Toulousian will host 4 pool games on the 12th, 16th, 25th and 29th of September 2007. With the highlights being France on the 16th and New Zealand on the 29th.
