Wales put Italy to the Hook – Wales 33-10 Italy

Wales gave the home supporters something to cheer as they ended a disappointing Six Nations with a comfortable win over Italy.

The first half and Wales kicked their points as Stephen Jones posted 4 penalties to give the home side a first half lead 12-0 for the first time in this campaign. They also gave glimpses of what could be.

The second period and whoever scored first was likely to take control. Well Hook butchered chances and then at last finished two to take Wales into a comfortable lead.

Shane Williams then posted his 51st try from close range picking up from a ruck, with 18 points from Stephen Jones who was man of the match though it could have easily gone to Hook who caused panic in the Azzuri ranks. Whatever at last the Welsh had shown their fire and we had the final score of:
