New Plymouth Yarrow Stadium

New Plymouth Stadium is in the central suburb of Westown in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. The stadium will host 3 pool games during the 2011 Rugby World Cup. They are on 11 September Ireland v USA, 15 September Russia v USA and 26 September Wales v Namibia.

Yarrow stadium as it is better known is a 25,000 capacity stadium and is one of the homes for the Hurricanes super 14 franchise. Though the major use is for Taranaki's home games in the Air New Zealand Cup.

The tourist opportunities around the stadium include adventure, tramping, hiking and guided walks as the area around the sunny city of New Plymouth, located in the Taranaki region, is well-known for its black sand surfing beaches and glorious parks and gardens.
